Job Title: VP of Sales
Reports To: Ownership
Position Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Vice President (VP) of Sales to lead our sales efforts in the multi-family renovations market. As the VP of Sales, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, building and managing a high-performing sales team and driving revenue growth in the multi-family renovations segment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Stay abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to continuously adapt sales strategies and tactics.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including prospecting, networking, and attending industry events.
- Develop and implement sales strategies and plans to penetrate the multi-family renovations market and achieve revenue growth targets.
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in the multi-family renovation industry, including property owners, property managers, and asset managers.
- Lead and manage a team of sales professionals, providing coaching, mentoring, and support to drive their success.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as marketing, operations, and finance, to ensure alignment and coordination in achieving sales objectives.
- Deliver compelling sales presentations, negotiate contracts, and close deals with customers.
- Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and analyses to senior management to track sales performance and make informed decisions.
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must possess the following qualifications. The qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, construction management, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles in the multi-family renovations industry, with a minimum of 10 years of experience.
- Strong understanding of the multi-family renovations market, including knowledge of renovation processes, regulations, and trends.
- Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a high-performing sales team.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans that result in revenue growth.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in the multi-family renovation industry.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively present and close deals.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze market data and customer feedback to identify sales opportunities and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools to manage sales activities and track performance.
